About This Game Welcome to Unholy Heights, a mashup of Tower Defense and Apartment Management Simulation! The Devil has converted a tenement building into monsters-only housing, and has big plans for the future. Sucker monsters into moving into your building, charge them rent and keep them happy by buying them furniture.Unfortunately, heroes have caught wind of the Devil's plan, and will stop at nothing to wipe him out. Knock on residents' doors to call them to battle, trap heroes in devious pincer formations, and command your troops to victory. Monsters get jobs, fall in love, have children, and even skip out on their rent. Keep them happy or you might not have anyone to fight for you when heroes come knocking. But don't be too soft: there's always prospective baddies looking to move in, so kick out the freeloaders when the time is right! Being a landlord is a difficult job, but it can't be harder than running Hell...right?Every monster is different. Some are lazy. Some are strong. Some are perverts.Use an intuitive mouse-based control scheme to command your troops into battle.Encounter more than 20 different monster species, and take their money.Build a reputation with different monster families based on your performance and play style.Take on quests at your pace to unlock new monsters and furniture.Build a stronger army as residents have children far stronger than themselves.Get monsters in the mood for love with inappropriately shaped erotic cakes.Look on in horror as lovingly hand-drawn monsters and humans horribly slaughter each other over money. Monster occupations, hobbies and desires are all procedurally generated to keep you on your toes. 7aa9394dea Title: Unholy HeightsGenre: Indie, Simulation, StrategyDeveloper:Petit DepottoPublisher:AGM PLAYISMFranchise:PLAYISMRelease Date: 16 Aug, 2013 Unholy Heights Torrent Download [key Serial] If you tell people about a game where you play as satan, they’ll probably think of torturing innocent souls, razing cities, fighting against god… You know, wreaking havoc on an untold scale. That could work, but it probably wouldn’t be nearly as fun as what Unholy Heights’ developers thought of."The Devil’s spent his savings on a place in the projects!" is the line that opens the game. Satan now owns an apartment building, and has to bring monsters in as tenants to not only get some cash, but also to protect the place from foolish adventurers looking to slay him. Priorities, see, after all those folks are dead, and we’ve some money in the bank, then we’ll talk about that havoc, and about world domination. You have a side view of the building. Whenever you’re attacked, the adventurer party will climb floor by floor, attempting to reach The Devil’s room, and you have to call on his tenants to prevent that from happening. When you're not under attack, you’ll need to recruit more tenants and keep them happy, so they’ll fight better and pay more rent. Of course, you aren’t above evicting them if they fail at either of those things. It’s very engaging, not only because of the gameplay, but the cute cartoon-ish presentation keeps you attached to each monster as they form their families and advance in their careers. It’s hard not to like them, or not feel slightly saddened when they die or leave. But, back to mechanics, the engagement also owes a lot to the surprising amount of depth to the game.Higher tier monsters have to be unlocked, and each has its own demands for that to happen, demands which aren’t always simple to meet. As you unlock those monsters, you’ll also need to mind the room allocation for battle: some monsters can tank more hits while others work better shooting from afar. To say nothing of the stat growth mechanics.Still, you can learn most of it in a few hours, without worry. It is truly a gem of an indie game, bringing together management, tower defense and real-time strategy, and still remaining quite accessible. You will need to read guides if you go for 100% completion, but whether or not you decide to, Unholy Heights still offers incredible value for its low asking price of four dollars.. Apparently skeletons can have babies, demons and centaurs hate each other, and the chicken guys are cheap scumbags. 10/10. Extremely addicting.. Two demons were renting a room. they had a child together. Then the parents died. The child had no job and couldn't pay me for the room, it was all alone on the world and it had only me to look after him. But i need money, so i evicted him. I was honestly surprised the game allowed that.10/10. I lead parents to thier death and evicted small children because they couldn't pay rent, I then brought my house snail a skipping rope. Didin't know they could jump rope.. Pretty addictive and charming management sim/tower defense hybrid.Like the fact you play as the villains not the generic good guys.Gameplay is simple but fun, with intuitive controls. For little over a dollar (SGD), you can't go wrong with this game if you like these two genres.. A classy little tower defense/rpg hybrid where you're a demon overlord letting minions of your domain live in apartments.... Interested yet?You get a wide variety of tenants all with their own strengths, weaknesses, and personalities (some have wet dreams and read dirty fanfiction.... relatable yet?)In all seriousness it's a rather fun little game that at least deserves a try.... it has a NISA feel to it as well so if you've played something like "What did I do to deserve this my lord?" It's the same concept.... Keep the overlord safe from heroes.. Well to start off, I wanna say some nice things about Unholy Heights. The art and presentation is great. Very charming characters and pleasant, chirpy music make for a good first impression to the game. It's also a reasonable price point considering how many hours you can get out of it, but with that said I want to list why I'm not that impressed with Unholy Heights. The actual gameplay is painfully repetitive, tower defense aspect of the game is VERY casual and one-dimensional and the management aspect is extremely boring after you do it for a couple hours. I like the quirkiness of the monsters but not so much that I wanna buy the same few things over and over each time I get a new tenant of that type. Maybe I'm just not that big a fan of simulation/management gameplay but I also think it feels kinda tacked on, as if it were to pad the length or give you something to do during downtime between quests. As much as I enjoy the presentation of Unholy Heights, I don't find the gameplay engaging or fun in any meaningful way. It's very casual, so if that's all you want and you really like what you see, you'll probably love it. I know there's a fair bit more content than what I got out of it, but nothing that will change how mundane and repetitive each quest is. I think that's another thing about the "hotel management" aspect of it, you're stuck to this one setting and battles happen almost the exact same way each time. Most great tower defense games have ever-changing levels and progression system/unlocks. Unholy Heights just has "buy this ice-cream a fridge, buy this devil a heater". It wears pretty thin after a while.. What a simplistic cute game. Not a bad price for the playability. Highly addicting. <3. I can't really describe why I don't like this game. At first I was intrigued and was having a small amount of fun but as the game progressed I just lost more and more interest. I felt like you have to maintain the monster's wants to much and they're still never happy no matter how much you spend and how low you make their rent. Not to mention if one dies then you have a room full of stuff that the next monster could not even need or like so you're trying to figure out if you need to sell it or what. What. It was very frustrating, but if you can overlook that unlike me then that should irrelevant. Also it seemed like you had to evict monsters or get them killed so you could start making money and room for the stronger monsters, which I don't like because eviction is a♥♥♥♥♥♥move and killing them is more of a♥♥♥♥♥♥move. That's just my personal opinion though.Oh, and you'll have to grind a bit to get more money from rent but it's not to bad since the game has an increase speed option. Figured I'd throw that in for people who just hate grinding.Lastly, I could see some people liking this game but I don't think it's good other than it's adorable monsters.. Yes, this is the Slumlord Simulation you are looking for, and it's so adorable your teeth with rot. So enjoy gaming through your halcyon days wearing dentures, cooing at babby skeletons, and getting irritated that the Succubus couple in 302 won't stop pillow-talking to come help with the nasty raiders trying to steal your hard-earned gold (YOU'RE MY ONLY LONG-RANGE DEMONS AT HOME, GET YOUR BUTTS OUT OF BED AND OUT.
